Models and Programs
We currently offer private lessons, and semi privates to those that come together or when scheduling and good pairings arise. Group lessons are available in specific circumstances and situations. Private lessons are our most popular option. Time and attention on one student is very helpful for seeing continuous progress.

All regular Elysium students, regardless of model chosen, will participate in our Ride The Rainbow system. This is a 7 level system, with 7-11 skills per level, to help students keep track of their progress, feel like they're going somewhere, and know what's next. Students receive a printed sheet with their current level and mark off skills until all are completed and they move to the next level. To see the full curriculum, press this button.

Pricing and descriptions for various models:

Full Hour:
Hour lessons take one hour, you arrive to a horse that is not ready to ride. Part of the lesson includes preparing the horse to be ridden by cleaning them and putting on the riding equipment. Students also take care of them after the ride. This results in more broad knowledge, as well as more time and a greater relationship with the animal.
$320/month for weekly lessons ($80/Lesson)
Or $90 for an individual lesson

Half Hour:
Half hour lessons take 30 minutes. The student arrives with the horse already prepared for them. The lesson only covers arena skills, no preparation or aftercare, both are covered by the instructor, or the student is left alone to do them if able.
$240/month for weekly lessons ($60/Lesson)
Or $75 for an individual lesson

Semi Privates:
Semi private lessons are for two people and take about an hour and 15 minutes. The student arrives with the horses not prepared to ride, though some prep work may be done to streamline. The students prepare their horses together, with help of instructors if need be, and always ride for at least 45 minutes to insure adequate eyes on each student.
$240/month per person for weekly lessons ($60/Lesson)
Or $75 per person for an individual lesson

Scheduling Policy:
For monthly packages, a date and time will be selected at the beginning of the month. If a lesson cannot be made, notify us before 24 hours. Every reasonable measure will be made to ensure the 4 lessons are had within the month, but lesson credits will carry over to the next month.
For individual lessons, they must be scheduled at least 3 days in advance.
Cancellations:
Lesson scheduling can be adjusted if needed until 24 hours before the lesson. Excepting extreme circumstances, cancellations within 24 hours are responsible for half the cost of the lesson, and no call no shows are responsible for the entire lesson.

In addition to regular lessons, we have our Barn Rat Saturday program
Nostalgic for the good old days of dropping your kid (or yourself) off at the barn all day? Come check out Barn Rat Saturdays at Elysium Equestrian! This is two programs rolled into one for a wide range of the ages and experience levels spanning the horse lover community.
12:30-2 is our Barn Rat Bootcamp, an unmounted lesson in all the things we CAN'T teach in a standard format riding lesson. Everything from basic breeds and colors to signs of health issues and avenues of competition. We’re building skills that go towards owning a horse, working as a vet or in veterinary fields, working or volunteering at a stable or horse rescue, or just soaking up as much horse knowledge as possible.
2-3 is time to hang out or help take care of horses and then we start getting ready for a 3:30 pm group lesson. Experience the joys of riding with friends old and new through lessons based in dressage, showjumping, and working equitation. Programs can be done separately or together.
Barn rat Bootcamp is $15/person, and our groups are $55/person.
The whole day is $65/person.
Get Started
We ask all potential students to come to the farm for a meet and greet before their first lesson. It provides a chance to meet the horse and instructor, see the property, discuss schedule and expectations among many other things. If you're interested in pursing lessons, reach out to set up a meet and greet!
